II. WEISSENSEE TRIENNALE

Dates:
23 July 2015, 5-6 pm

Location:
Karl-Marx-Allee 31, 10178 Berlin-Mitte

The Weissensee Triennale is a spontaneous event, exhibition and exercise of fine art students at various public locations. Engaging with the perception of public space, behavioral patterns and artistic freedom, the first Triennale was launched in the Berlin-Warszawa-Express 2014. The second Weissensee Triennale will take part on July 23rd for just one hour in a public building in Berlin-Mitte. All participating artists have three days to produce new site-specific works for the exhibition. The limited time and new context require improvisation and intuitive individual action beside the group dynamic. Weissensee Triennale consists of an exhibition, evening talks and sleepless nights that try to capture the energy of the moment.
